Empowering quality infrastructure in Spain

El trabajo conjunto de UNE, CEM y ENAC en normalización, metrología y acreditación y el lanzamiento de la web “Infraestructura de la calidad española”, buscan concienciar sobre la importancia de contar con una infraestructura de la calidad fuerte en España.

Potenciar la infraestructura de la calidad en España.

Ese es el principal objetivo del acuerdo que firmaron este mes de julio la Asociación Española de Normalización, UNE, el Centro Español de Metrología (CEM), y la Entidad Nacional de Acreditación (ENAC).

Se trata de un protocolo de colaboración para impulsar la infraestructura de la calidad en España, un elemento que contribuye a aumentar la competitividad de los sectores de actividad y del tejido económico e industrial español, así como a mejorar el funcionamiento efectivo del Mercado Interior de la UE y el acceso a mercados de terceros países.

Spanish researchers create a system against cyberattacks on the electricity grid

A new system against cyberattacks on the electrical network. This is one of the latest big news that the hospital engineering and electrical safety sector has received.

The announcement came at the beginning of July and the protagonists have been the Energy Research Institute of Catalonia (Irec), together with the electricity distribution company Anell. Both have launched a pilot for a platform that helps prevent and mitigate cyberattacks on systems as critical as the electricity grid, and which could be replicated in other distribution networks, both nationally and internationally.

Trends and conclusions in hospital engineering currently

Last October, the 38th Hospital Engineering Congress / 9th IFHE-EU Congress was held in Gijón (Spain). During the two and a half days that the event lasted, several of the most important professionals in the health sector in this area met.

On this occasion, the main novelties, trends and elements of analysis were the innovation of technology, such as 3D printing, Big Data, equipment management … There were also novelties in electromedicine equipment, new architectural projects and especially everything related to the role of hospital engineering in the Covid-19 pandemic.

This edition of the ARAB HEALTH 2020, will take place from January 27 to 30, at the Dubai World Trade Center and the Conrad Dubai Hotel, and will participate more than 4,250 companies from more than 64 countries.

ETKHO will be present to show the latest technologies, products and services in electrical safety for hospital facilities. This edition is the first one in which it will be participating.
