ETKHO reinforces its leadership in hospital electrical safety at WHX Dubai 2026

ETKHO has participated for the third consecutive time in WHX Dubai 2026 (World Health Expo Dubai), the leading international event for the healthcare industry, consolidating its position as a leader in hospital electrical safety and technological solutions for critical medical environments.

The 2026 edition of WHX Dubai marked a turning point in the history of the fair. After 50 years under the name Arab Health, the event is evolving and adopting its new identity as World Health Expo, held at the Dubai Exhibition Centre, Expo City Dubai, from 9 to 12 February 2026.

Arab Health, now rebranded as WHX Dubai, continues to be the leading healthcare exhibition in the Middle East. In its 51st edition, the event is expected to attract over 235,000 professionals from more than 180 countries, with 4,300 exhibitors and more than 250 speakers.

Global Health Exhibition 2025: ETKHO at the Forefront of Health Innovation

Saudi Arabia has made significant advances in its healthcare infrastructure in recent years, establishing itself as a strategic market for companies in the health sector.

Since its launch in 2018, the Global Health Exhibition has been held in the Saudi capital, and this year it is expected to attract over 100,000 professionals, with 450 speakers and 1,240 exhibitors from 138 countries.

Innovation and connectivity at MWC Barcelona 2025: AI as a transformative force

This March, Etkho, in collaboration with our partner Tedisel Medical, was present at the 2025 edition of the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona, the world’s most influential technology and telecommunications event. With 109,000 attendees and 2,900 exhibiting companies, the show reaffirmed its key role in defining the digital future.

This year’s edition was marked by a strong commitment to innovation in artificial intelligence (AI), connectivity and digitization. Leading companies in the sector presented their advances in emerging technologies, from 6G networks to edge computing solutions, highlighting how AI is revolutionizing industries such as healthcare, telecommunications and mobility.

ETKHO Repeats Success at Arab Health 2025

Arab Health 2025, the world’s most prestigious hospital sector trade fair, concluded after three days of intense activity and an important announcement for 2026.

ETKHO has once again participated in Arab Health 2025. The fair, held from January 27 to 30 at the Dubai World Trade Center, marked its 50th edition as the largest healthcare event in the Middle East.

The event, under the theme “Investing in Impact: Redefining Healthcare through Innovation and Collaboration,” brought together over 3,800 exhibitors and welcomed more than 60,000 visitors, serving as a unique platform for innovation, collaboration, and education in the healthcare sector.

XII Hospital Engineering Meeting: for continuous improvement in healthcare

On June 14 and 15, Zaragoza hosted the XII Hospital Engineering Meeting, an event organized by Redección Médica with the collaboration of the Spanish Association of Hospital Engineering (AEIH) and Carburos Metálicos.

The objective of this meeting was to enable a space for debate and exchange of ideas, reflections and proposals in the field of hospital engineers and architects, heads of engineering and maintenance services, heads of technical service, heads of studies and projects areas…

Gathered over two days, current issues in this area were once again shared in a meeting attended by the most representative members of this group.

Arab Health 2024 presents the main health innovations in the world

Under the motto “Connect minds and transform healthcare”, Arab Health 2024, the most prestigious fair in the hospital sector worldwide together with the Düsseldorf Medical Fair, closed its doors on February 1 after three days of intense activity.

With more than 3,450 exhibitors and attracting more than 110,000 healthcare professionals from 180 countries, Arab Health 2024 has been deployed across 40 international pavilions at the Dubai World Trade Centre, showcasing the latest products and advances in Health Care.

Innovations in Smart Hospitals and interoperability zones have predominated at the event. At Arab Health 2024, Etkho has repeated its presence, for another year, presenting its range of hospital equipment with Tedisel Medical.

The 40th Congress of Hospital Engineering exceeds any forecast with 1,500 attendees.

The 40th Hospital Engineering Seminar of A Coruña has ended with great participation success.

The event par excellence of hospital engineering exceeded 1,500 specialists gathered, almost half a thousand more than expected, during its celebration in A Coruña on October 4, 5 and 6.

The Gaviota auditorium in Palexco hosted 11 discussion tables and more than 80 communications in which the sector debated at length about innovation in this industry and the challenges to be addressed.

Everything’s ready for the 40th Hospital Engineering Seminar

On October 4, 5 and 6, the 40th Hospital Engineering Seminar – National Congress will be held in A Coruña.

One more year, and this will be the fourth, Galicia will host the event, with the city of the Tower of Hercules once again being the chosen city after 36 years.

From the Organizing Committee, formed by the Spanish Association of Hospital Engineering (AEIH), and Cotehga, the Commission of Hospital Technicians of García, they affirm that the health system, after years of development, absorbs a very considerable part of the GDP. of Western countries.

In this context, it seems time to apply circular economy criteria such as a greater contribution from renewable energies, more comprehensive recycling or the use of local resources.

That will be one of the keys to the 40th edition of this event in which professionals from the sector will share their knowledge, research, innovations, experiences and projects, through presentations, communications or discussion tables.

Trends and conclusions in hospital engineering currently

Last October, the 38th Hospital Engineering Congress / 9th IFHE-EU Congress was held in Gijón (Spain). During the two and a half days that the event lasted, several of the most important professionals in the health sector in this area met.

On this occasion, the main novelties, trends and elements of analysis were the innovation of technology, such as 3D printing, Big Data, equipment management … There were also novelties in electromedicine equipment, new architectural projects and especially everything related to the role of hospital engineering in the Covid-19 pandemic.
