The evolution to WHX Dubai

Arab Health has been the most important healthcare event globally for half a century—alongside the Düsseldorf Medical Fair.

In this edition, celebrating its 50th-anniversary milestone, it was confirmed that the event is looking towards the next 50 years of innovation in the healthcare sector by transforming into WHX Dubai (World Health Expo).

What has been known as Arab Health will now be part of other leading global healthcare events under the WHX network to “bring together the brightest minds in health and technology, fostering learning, knowledge exchange, and connection.”

Faced with an increasingly global future, defined by unimaginable technologies and opportunities, WHX unifies the network of healthcare events under a single brand. These events will connect individuals, companies, governments, policymakers, and innovators worldwide to facilitate seamless collaboration.

WHX aims to leverage the success of Arab Health to connect over 500,000 healthcare professionals across nine countries and four continents.

Key highlights

Undoubtedly, Smart Hospitals and interoperability zones dominated the event, offering visitors an immersive experience into the future of healthcare, continuing the trend from 2024.

The 2025 edition has driven the introduction of new innovative conferences that highlighted innovation, the latest technology, sustainability, and collaboration in the healthcare sector. Concurrently, a comprehensive program of medical congresses covering various specialties and disciplines took place, attracting thousands of professional delegates.

This exhibition also featured demonstrations of innovative and sustainable healthcare technologies, showcasing how they can seamlessly integrate with cutting-edge medical equipment to enhance the overall patient care environment.

Additionally, interdisciplinary collaboration was a central theme of the event, with experts from different countries.

In its 50th edition in 2025, Arab Health reaffirmed its status as an industry benchmark, covering various sectorssuch as electromedical equipment, isolation monitors, single-use medical products, clinical furniture, dentistry, laboratory equipment, diagnostic reagents, emergency care, telemedicine, orthopedics and rehabilitation, pharmaceuticals, laboratory diagnostics, and, innovatively, medical tourism, a newly incorporated sector.

Investing in sustainable healthcare futures

The summit also underscored the importance of sustainable investments that go beyond immediate financial returns.

Sessions emphasized the importance of aligning investments with long-term healthcare outcomes, such as supporting infrastructure for advanced therapies and expanding access to healthcare in underserved regions.

The discussion particularly focused on how investments can serve both as a catalyst for innovation and as a vehicle for achieving broader healthcare goals, including those set by global and national initiatives such as Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030.

Technology as the cornerstone of modern healthcare

Technological innovation was another fundamental pillar of the summit, with a strong emphasis on how artificial intelligence, digital health, and cutting-edge medical solutions and therapies, such as gene and cell therapy, are reshaping healthcare landscapes.

Discussions delved into how technology not only improves patient outcomes but also strengthens healthcare systems through better data management and increased patient engagement.

Fostering a forward-thinking workforce

Recognizing the critical role of healthcare professionals in the success of any innovation, the summit also addressed workforce development.

There was a strong emphasis on the need for strategic talent management, training, and development to prepare a workforce capable of handling new technologies and complex healthcare ecosystems.

ETKHO at Arab Health 2025

At Arab Health 2025, ETKHO once again showcased its presence, presenting its range of hospital equipment.

Specifically, the company highlighted some of its most innovative products: the ES 448 leakage locator system and the ES449 current injector.

The ES 448 leakage locator system, used with the ES1000 A isolation monitor for medical facilities with IT systems, enables the identification of the energy supply line experiencing leakage failure. This provides maintenance personnel with detailed information for appropriate corrective action.

El sistema localizador de fugas ES 448, usado con el vigilante de aislamiento ES1000 A, para locales de uso médico con sistemas IT, permite identificar cual es la línea de alimentación de energía, con presencia de fallo de fuga.

This device scans six measurement channels, illuminating the LED associated with the channel detecting leakage. The alarm message is monitored on the ES1000A isolation monitor, displaying the channel where the failure occurred, and the alarm is transmitted via the RS485 communication bus.

Meanwhile, the ES449 current injector is used with the ES1000A isolation monitor and the ES448 leakage locator network for medical facilities with IT systems. It injects current into the toroids of the leakage locator blocks, allowing them to identify which energy line has a leakage failure.

El inyector de corriente ES449 se usa con el vigilador de aislamiento ES1000A, y la propia red de localizadores de fuga ES448, para locales de uso  médico con sistema IT, inyectando corriente a los toroidales de los bloques localizadores de fuga.

Arab Health 2025 highlighted how new technologies and approaches can significantly impact the future of healthcare, improving patient quality of life and enhancing the efficiency of healthcare services through better resource management.
