The 41st Hospital Engineering Seminar closes with continued success

Hospital engineering celebrates another milestone on its path toward excellence in the healthcare system. Over three days, the FIBES II Congress Palace in Seville became the national hub for hospital engineering, hosting the 41st Hospital Engineering Seminar.

This edition brought together more than 1,500 participants, 120 exhibiting companies, and featured 13 discussion panels, establishing itself as a key reference point for the healthcare sector.

Organized by the Spanish Association of Hospital Engineering (AEIH), the seminar once again tackled crucial topics related to hospital infrastructure and technology, from cybersecurity to the use of renewable energy sources.

XII Hospital Engineering Meeting: for continuous improvement in healthcare

On June 14 and 15, Zaragoza hosted the XII Hospital Engineering Meeting, an event organized by Redección Médica with the collaboration of the Spanish Association of Hospital Engineering (AEIH) and Carburos Metálicos.

The objective of this meeting was to enable a space for debate and exchange of ideas, reflections and proposals in the field of hospital engineers and architects, heads of engineering and maintenance services, heads of technical service, heads of studies and projects areas…

Gathered over two days, current issues in this area were once again shared in a meeting attended by the most representative members of this group.

Trends and conclusions in hospital engineering currently

Last October, the 38th Hospital Engineering Congress / 9th IFHE-EU Congress was held in Gijón (Spain). During the two and a half days that the event lasted, several of the most important professionals in the health sector in this area met.

On this occasion, the main novelties, trends and elements of analysis were the innovation of technology, such as 3D printing, Big Data, equipment management … There were also novelties in electromedicine equipment, new architectural projects and especially everything related to the role of hospital engineering in the Covid-19 pandemic.
